Our mission

As a social enterprise and registered B Corporation, our mission is to help people, particularly those with non-college educational backgrounds and other barriers to employment, achieve major inflection points in their careers.

 

We do this by: 

 

  1. Helping employers hire more inclusively by removing degree requirements and focusing on demonstrated skills and competencies through work tryouts 

  2. Ensuring that work tryouts provide skills and real-world professional experiences that enable candidates to evaluate their own interests and skills 

  3. Ensuring that each person applying to a Bellbird position can receive actionable feedback and targeted recommended free or low-cost, quality upskilling resources 

  4. Building a community where job seekers are able to access culturally competent and trustworthy content to explore career paths that lead to greater economic security
